The electric automaker, Elon Musk, tweeted the first few pictures of the new Tesla Model 3, few days after it passed the regulatory requirements for production. Customers who had been waiting with bated breath can now breathe a sigh of relief knowing how the upcoming Tesla Model 3 looks like.

As per earlier reports, Tesla’s Model 3 which was unveiled at a base price of $35,000, received innumerable pre-bookings, even though, only the prototype was shown. With a booking amount of $1000, Model 3 is supposedly cheaper and consumer friendly than its luxury counterpart Model S and Model X. Although it is smaller than its siblings, it will still have the self-drive feature and a range of 215 miles. As per Musk’s tweets, the electric car company will manufacture 30 vehicles per month until December where it will ramp it up to 20,000 vehicles a month.

It is expected that car will be made available to the public by the end of July. According to reports, in Los Angeles Times,  choices available in the first round of cars are in colour and wheel size. The phenomenal faith that has been bestowed on Musk was quite evident when Tesla had received more than 3,25,000 orders for its Model 3 sedan. Recently, Musk had tweeted,
