Popular digital media creation and editing software manufacturer, Adobe has brought its popular PDF conversion technique to the iOS users, by the way of CreatePDF. Simply put, the app would enable the users of the iPad, iPhone or the iPod Touch to create PDF format files on their devices, itself. Adobe adds that using CreatePDF app, iOS users will be able to create PDF format files out of Microsoft Office, Open Office, Adobe Illustrator and InDesign files, and images, as well. It is also being stated that the output quality of the CreatePDF-enabled PDF files is the same as that of the Acrobat-enabled, desktop PDF files. While doing so, it doesn't store a copy of your converted file, thereby lending a thought to security.
Here's how you begin with CreatePDF
When converting MS-office files, presumably with links, headers and footers, CreatePDF claims to retain all of those in the PDF file. It is also being stated that sharing PDF files using CreatePDF is easy, too and it happens with a single touch, adds Adobe. The supported file formats for it are –
- MS Word (docx, doc), Excel(xlsx, xls), PowerPoint (pptx, ppt)
- Adobe Illustrator (ai), Photoshop (psd) and InDesign (indd)
- Images – JPEG, BMP, PNG, GIF, TIFF
- RTF, Text and WordPerfect
- OpenOffice and StarOffice documents
The app is currently available for download on the App store for $9.99. If you've tried your hands on it it, why not share your opinion with us? Alternatively, those who wish to download the app, can do so by clicking here.
