Weren’t we supposed to be munching on some Gingerbread in November? Well it's quite obvious that the update is not out, but for those craving for confectionary (aka Android users) here is a video leaked of what might be minor changes to the Android 2.3 Gingerbread OS. As per the video, there are no jaw-dropping features or changes, but we would like to take a look and see what lies beneath.
Sources say that the new look seems to be a black one with the notification area and the background going that way. Icons have a new look and there are a couple of shortcuts added on the virtual menu key on the bottom of the screen. The last thing is the restyled buttons in the settings screen.
Apparently there are some changes made to the Android Market as well, with three new tabs coming from the app information page. There’s no confirmation with regards to what it really is because it’s in Cantonese. The sources also talk about some changes like support for higher resolutions (cannot be anything else than tablets), WebM video support and NFC support. Let us know if you can decipher the language in the video!
