Micromax has been churning out several smartphones ranging from entry-level to high-end ones with superior features. But the company hasn’t really been gung-ho about releasing software updates. It now looks like this may change soon. MMXNewscaster has tweeted a list of Micromax devices that will receive Android KitKat updates. The tweet hasn’t mentioned when these devices will be getting an update.
If the tweet is to be believed than the company will soon roll out Android version 4.4 KitKat for 11 smartphones in the Canvas series. The list also includes the recently leaked and yet to-be-announced Canvas A200.

It should be noted that Micromax will bring the latest iteration of Android to not just its latest popular smartphones but also some older budget phones. Needless to say, the list includes the Canvas Turbo A250. However, the list doesn’t mention upgrade for tablets.
While there's no confirmation from Micromax itself about the phone, a new leak claims that the company is working on Canvas A200, speculated to be the Canvas Mini and priced between Rs 10,000 and Rs 15,000. The rumoured specifications of the A200 include 1.3GHz quad-core processor, 1GB of RAM, 4GB onboard storage, 8-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
