Angry Birds was rumoured to get a movie, then a tv show and it seems they just can't wait to go to tinsel town. After the Valentine's Day version that's slated to come out, the birds are destined to go 'Rio', that is, Angry Birds Rio will set the game against the backdrop of the upcoming animated flick, Rio. Some characters from the movie will also be present in the game, and gameplay will involve kidnapping of the ballistic birds. Which means this time it's not about the eggs, it's about the birds themselves.

The birds go Brazilian!

The set up is that the birds are seemingly taken on vacation to Rio de Janeiro in a helicopter and are mysteriously dropped off in a dark cave. The birds need to make their way out of the cave by battling all sorts of evil forces in a series of 45 levels. 'Angry Birds Rio' is slated to release in March and until then, we're still waiting on the magic update for the lovey dovey Valentine's Day version.
