The world of 3D has become more realistic than ever, right from 3D cinema to 3DTVs and even 3D phones. One thing that’s not been solved (at least completely) is the pre-requisite of wearing 3D glasses which tend to tire you after a while. This is where Grilli3D comes into action.

The company is working on a “simple and inexpensive plastic film” that works by “interposing a series of 'barrier lines' between the eyes and the image,” which is pretty similar to stereoscopic 3D. Images that are meant specifically to be viewed in 3D can be done so through Grilli3D’s method. They’re going to bring 3D to the iPad/iPhone/iPod touch, and for now there’s only mention of the Apple devices, but we do hope that they broaden their horizons and reach out to many other brands of products as well.
