Asus announced a new model of its Chromebook series, called Flip C213 which is a 360 degree-flippable 2-in-1 laptop. The Flip C213 comes with an 11.6-touchscreen and has two variants of display, one with the Corning Gorilla glass and the other with an anti-glare finish.

Asus has bragged extensively about the built quality of the Flip C213 and how it was rigorously tested to ensure it can easily withstand the physical stress of use in education environments. The tests consisted of a drop test from a height of 1.2 meters and subjecting it to more than 40,000 open-and-close cycles.

It comes with a spill-proof keyboard that has a 2.0mm key-travel for easy typing. The components are modular built which makes it easier to replace damaged parts like keyboard, touchpad, battery, motherboard and display panel.

The Flip C213 packs a 5MP rear camera for high-resolution photos and videos, and an HD front camera for video calls. It has a 46 Wh battery that supposedly offers 12 hours of battery life. Like all other Chromebooks the Flip C213 will also be running Google’s ChromeOS and will feature a ton of Google apps and cloud services for business and education sectors, such as G Suite, Google Classroom among others. The Flip C213 comes with preloaded with anti-virus protection that secures from cyber-attacks as well.
