As the year comes to an end, sites all over discount their goods in a bid to boost sales. We’ve combed some of them and come up with a list of stuff worth plonking your hard earned money on.

Prince of Persia Trilogy HD (PS3) – Rs. 1,102

Pretty much every Prince of Persia game be it old or new has always been largely positively received as they’re a fine blend of action, adventure, platforming and charm that’ll appeal to all. With the Prince of Persia trilogy, you get an HD version of three fine, older games – Sands of Time, Warrior Within and Two Thrones all in one pack.

Red Dead Redemption: Undead Nightmare (Xbox360) – Rs. 1,033

You have a little uhh – never mind

Rockstar has always set the bar for Downloadable Content (DLC) real high and Undead Nightmare is no different. Expanding on all that we loved in Red Dead Redemption, Undead Nightmare puts a rather unique twist on the game allowing players to explore the Western frontier while trying to survive a nasty zombie apocalypse.

Spiderman: Shattered Dimensions (Xbox360) – Rs. 1,172

After a spate of rather crappy Spiderman games, Shattered Dimensions was a breath of fresh air where players could control four diverse Spidermen from different dimensions, each of which played in a distinct manner. Sure the game faltered a bit on stealth, but it more than made up for it with epic boss battles, fluid combat and gorgeous visuals.

Borderlands (Xbox360) – Rs. 685

Locked and loaded

Part RPG and part Shooter, Borderlands was the world’s first Role Playing Shooter fusing the enjoyable elements from both genres to create one addictive, cel-shaded package. The icing on the cake, of course was the four player co-operative play that allowed you to tear through the Badlands with up to three other friends online.

Bayonetta (Xbox360) – Rs. 1,500
