Nokia’s Belle operating system (previously, Symbian Belle) user interface will soon be available for download to some existing Nokia smartphones, like the Nokia N8, Nokia E7, Nokia E6, Nokia X7, Nokia C6-01, Nokia C7, and Nokia Oro. Launched earlier this year with the Nokia 701, the Nokia 700 and the Nokia 603 smartphones, the UI has received a fairly positive feedback from critics and fans, alike.

Belle coming to older Nokia phones

The aforementioned devices will get the software update in February 2012 and it will be available OTA, so you can download it right on to your phone. Now, that’s definitely good news for those who thought that they were stuck with the older operating system. Also, the current versions of the Nokia N8, Nokia C7 and Nokia C6-01 will be sold with Nokia Belle pre-installed, with the arrivals first coming to China, then the rest of the world. We reviewed the Nokia 701 running on their Belle operating system, and in a nutshell it was definitely impressive.  More information on Nokia and its Belle OS is available here.
