BenQ says these monitors use a low blue light mode that reduces blue light emission significantly and prevents skewing of colours. The monitors come with different viewing modes that adjust the levels for an optimal experience. These include a Multimedia Mode, a Web Surfing Mode, an Office Mode and a Reading Mode. Reading Mode is especially interesting as this could let users read books from their smartphones and tablets on the monitors.
The new product line-up is said to be ideal for those seeking a high-end monitor for gaming or multimedia viewingThe flicker-free technology eliminates flickering at all brightness levels, and reduces eye fatigue which can cause vision-related disorders says BenQ. BenQ says sight disorders are common in people who spend three or more hours on computer in a single stretch.
“BenQ has eliminated flicker from monitors and have included different modes, which cut glare and significantly reduce blue LED light emissions that have shown to be detrimental to the eye,” BenQ India Country Head Rajeev Singh said.
The new monitors don’t look too different from BenQ monitors in the past. The slim bezels around the screen, let users get an immersive viewing experience. There’s even a specially-design patented smartphone holder and MHL integration to interface with the said phone.
