It’s that time of the year again for school students in India. Google has announced the Doodle 4 Google competition in India. The theme: Unity in Diversity.
Google’s blog post reads,
This year we are looking for doodles which show India’s “Unity in Diversity”. Bring alive the things you think are uniquely different and diverse, yet unite India and make it into a doodle.
The theme kind of reminds you of Republic day and Independence day art competitions in school. If Nehru were alive, he would definitely have approved!
About the contest: The ‘Doodle 4 Google – Unity in Diversity’ competition is open to all school students in India. There will be three categories for the Doodles. Group 1 which includes classes 1-3, Group 2 which has classes 4-6 and finally Group 3 which includes Class 7-10.
The deadline for submission is 23 October. The top 12 finalists will be announced on 29 October after which online public voting will be open from 29 October to 3 November. The one big National winner will be announced on 6 November. There will be category winners as well.
