It seems that the upcoming launch date of the iPhone 5 is looming closer. After the CEO of Orange, France spilled the beans on the impending release date of the iPhone 5, Case-Mate, the smartphone cover manufacturer published a page on their website which shows a refreshing new design of the upcoming Apple iPhone. However, shortly after the page surfaced, the case manufacturer pulled the page off their website.
Case-Mate previews covers for iPhone 5
According to a report by BGR, Case-Mate had published a page with six different types of covers for the iPhone 5. Rumours are circulating that Apple intends to out an iPhone that is slimmer and wider than the current version – the iPhone 4. These cases indicate that these rumours seem to be true. Case-Mate removed the page and replaced it with a page where one can receive updates on the cases available for the next iPhone. The new page tends to be speculative by stating, “The guessing game continues whether Apple will unveil the iPhone 5 or the iPhone 4S. Case-Mate will be ready with a collection of iPhone 5 cases/iPhone 4S cases to protect your new iPhone in your own personal style.”
If the page was removed, it seems that the folks at Cupertino weren’t too impressed with Case-Mate for revealing the design specifications of the next iPhone. Case-Mate adds that whatever the model may be – iPhone 5 or 4S, they will have a cover for customers. They end by saying that their inside sources have revealed that Apple will launch both variants of the iPhone with the iPhone 4S having the same form factor as the iPhone 4 but with an A5 dual-core processor and an 8 megapixel camera.
