The tablet devices we’re going to see this year is going to make choosing extremely hard if that’s a device you’re interested in purchasing. With options available from almost all the big players and even some of minor league companies, the competition to stay ahead is reaching a fevered pitch. Another popular brand for the Indian consumers that has a certain specialty when it comes to PMPs is Cowon and they’ve also showcased, at CES 2010, a Windows 7 powered device called the W2. The W2 will be running on an Intel Atom 1.33GHz CPU. The company is no stranger to the MID (Mobile Internet Device) range of devices as we’ve seen in the past with their Q5 touchscreen device.

– a 4.8-inch touchscreen LCD that sports a 1024 x 600 pixel resolution
– Wi-Fi connectivity
– Bluetooth v2.0 + EDR and A2DP, USB 2.0
– Ethernet port and monitor out
– Built-in speakers
