Dell unveiled the Streak 7 tablet running Google’s Android 2.2 platform. This would be Dell’s first 4G tablet and it will be launched along with T-Mobile.
Dell Streak 7: Now in a friendlier, larger size!
The new Streak is powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra dual-core processor, a 7-inch Gorilla Glass touchscreen. The 4G capability is a great thing to have, but in India we still have a long way to go before we taste it. Front and rear facing cameras along with WiFi 802.11n are part of the package, which should prove useful for video and audio conferencing over the internet. Many would say that the older Dell Streak only had a 5-inch screen, which made it too small to be a full-fledged laptop and too large to fit in the pocket. However, the new and larger 7-inch Dell Streak should fall in the same format as the Apple iPad and the Samsung Galaxy Tab.
