Soon after the unveiling of the AMD Fusion platform, all major PC manufacturers piled up to unveil their own AMD Fusion related products. MSI wasn't lagging behind either and they launched the AE2050, an all-in-one PC powered by the AMD Brazos platform. The PCs will be equipped with two USB 3.0 ports, and MSI is assuring fast data transfer speeds, but that’s assuming you use USB 3.0 drives.
MSI's AE2050 should be one of the first all-in-ones to hit markets
The Wind Top AE2050 will come built with a full HD touchscreen display. The Wind Top AE2050 will also have Windows 7 pre-installed, which means built-in multi-touch support. MSI will also have a multitouch software, which should make using the AE2050 effortless for users of all ages. MSI will be bundling third party software such as ArtRage, a painting software with multitouch support and YouCam, a web camera software will allows for direct video recording to social networking sites as well as video chatting with others. Apart from that, motion detection software will enable users to use the Wind Top as a security camera.
One thing’s for sure though – we’ll have our hands full when the first wave of Fusion powered PCs and netbooks touch shore.
