Corsair, a designer and supplier of components to the PC gaming hardware market, has announced an updated version of the Hydro Series H60 liquid CPU cooler and the new Hydro Series H55 liquid CPU cooler.
The Hydro Series H55 is an update to the Hydro Series H50, and is based on the latest, fourth generation cold-plate design. As per an official statement by the company, the updated version of the Hydro Series H60 makes good use of the latest cold plate, manifold, and fan technology to increase performance and reduce noise levels.

Thi La, senior VP and GM of Memory and Enthusiast Component Products at Corsair, said, “The Hydro Series H50 and H60 have a hard-won reputation for delivering effective, reliable, and quiet CPU cooling. These new and improved versions demonstrate Corsair's commitment to providing our customers with the latest and best integrated liquid cooling technology.”
Corsair states that the Hydro Series H60 also utilises larger diameter tubing, which increases the coolant flow rate and performance. The new composite rubber tubing makes installation easier, but retains the low-evaporation rates of the older, and more rigid tubing. Corsair claims the Hydro Series H60 also introduces a tool-free, magnetic mounting bracket, which makes it simple to select the correct motherboard socket format.

A high-quality fan designed specifically to move air through the fins of a liquid cooling radiator is an essential part of any liquid cooling system. The new H60includes a 120mm fan based on the Air Series SP120. This utilises a motor that has been specially tuned for high torque, ensuring static pressure, and high performance at low-noise levels. The Hydro Series H55 is designed to provide an upgrade from a basic CPU air cooler.
Both the Hydro Series H55 and Hydro Series H60 are compatible with most cases that feature a rear 120mm fan mount. Both support motherboards based on the Intel LGA115x/1366/2011 and AMD AM2/AM3/FM1 sockets.
Corsair H60 and H55 are available from Corsair's worldwide network and come with a five-year warranty.
Earlier this year, Corsair Force Series GS SSDs were launched in India. The SSDs are equipped with toggle NAND flash memory to boost random write speeds up to 90,000 IOPs. The Force Series GS SSDs feature SATA 6GB/s connectivity, TRIM support, and lower power operation for longer battery life. It's also fully backward compatible with SATA 2. Their 2.5-inch form factor, combined with an included 3.5-inch adapter allows installation into notebooks or into desktop PCs. Corsair claims that the solid-state design of Corsair SSDs enables them to deliver faster data read and write speeds, which can reduce software load and PC start up time. As SSDs have no moving mechanical parts, they keep laptops cooler, run longer on batteries, and resist data loss from bumps.
