Corsair yesterday launched their Dream PC lineup of two gaming PCs for the performance-oriented. The two Sandy Bridge-powered PCs, Ultimate Dream PC and Gamer Dream PC, are quite stacked to the brim with pretty good hardware. You can even build your own Custom Dream PC, which is quite a cool offering for the enthusiasts out there.
The Ultimate Dream PC is powered by a Core i7 2600, clocked at 3.4GHz, has 12GB DDR3 RAM boasts a three-way SLI configuration of GTX 570s. The Gamer Dream PC has a Core i5 2400 at its heart, clocked at 3.1GHz. 8GB DDR3 RAM and a pair of GTS 450s are also under the hood. Anyway, take a look at the full specsheet below.
It’s a bit strange that Corsair have announced two PCs running P67 chipsets when Intel are actively recalling them, but maybe they thought a 6% decrease in hard-disk performance over a three-year period wasn’t worth delaying this for.
The Ultimate Dream PC is priced at Rs. 2,50,000 (!) and the Gamer Dream PC at Rs. 99,000.
