While Dell entered the Tablet PC market with their Streak only recently, it seems the PC giants are quickly on the move with a successor. Whether, it’s because of probabilities of Apple coming with the iPad 2 or not, but there’s something cooking at their labs.
Dell Streak 2 aka Opus One will have a 5-inch display (like its predecessor), but with a higher resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. Of course a higher resolution means clearer display icons, sharper images and smoother video playback. The processor, unlike the Streak, should be a faster dual-core processor clocking 1.2 GHz and may either be one of the Qualcomm or Snapdragon series.
So who wins the war of the successive tablets? Will the sequel of the product offer something more than the first? Will it just be a teeny weenie update, fixing some previously occurred bugs or will it be some major technological showdown? Apple has been known for its innovation in the technological section and while Dell is no small electronics player, they’re a household name. When it comes to computer-based gadgets they have come out with some jaw-dropping stuff. Keep your fingers crossed.
