It's raining books and novels…

So here it is, Google has now officially launched Google Books for the Android Operating System, where users can search, buy and download books from the app. For starters, Google’s eBookstore gives books for the iOS, Web, Nook, Sony and now Android. So if you own an Android smartphone, all you have to do is download the free app from the app store from your smartphone or the Android Market web link. Then there’s a wide variety of books from various genres to choose from like Horror, Fiction, Science and so on.

The description on their web market for Android talks about 3 million free books, so it doesn’t look like you have quite a bit to choose from and stuff that you don’t have to pay for as well. Give the app a spin and let us know what you felt about Google Books.
