Epson recently launched six new projectors: the EB-421i, the EB-431i, the EB-426Wi, the EB-436Wi, the EH-TW550, and the EB-W16SK. The EB-421i, the EB-431i, the EB-426Wi and the EB-436Wi are armed with Epson's 3LCD technology and aren’t 3D-capable. The EH-TW550 is aimed towards those who want to set up a 3D home theatre project; it is capable of projecting resolutions of up to 720p. The EB-W16SK is aimed at educational and business users and it features a passive 3D model composed of two stacked projectors.
Harish AK, Business Head of Visual Instruments, Epson India, said, “The new projectors for the Home, Business and Education segments have been designed taking performance, innovation and functionality as the three key parameters for a wide range of end consumers. The new EH-TW550 takes affordable 3D home theatre viewing to a completely different level. Epson has consciously introduced a new model at a very affordable price point in a bid to get more consumers to experience the joy of big screen viewing at home.”

As per the press release, the 3D projectors support all 3D formats without needing any additional hardware. The projectors also use radio frequency-based 3D glasses that are compliant with the new “Full HD 3D Glasses” industry standard.
The EB-421i, the EB-431i, the EB-426Wi and the EB-436Wi are new additions to the company's projector lineup. The projectors can be used for annotations without a PC connection. They can be used as an interactive whiteboard without needing a PC, have dual-pen capability that allows two users to write/draw on the projection simultaneously, and are integrated with Microsoft PowerPoint.
Projectors for home, education, and business
The EB-W16SK is a dual-projector setup and offers users the choice of either active or passive 3D technologies, along with their related advantages. The passive 3D setup works using two stacked projectors that offers 3D images for polarised 3D glasses that don't need batteries.
The EH-TW550 is a new addition to the company's 3D home theatre range. It features a 720p HD resolution and a horizontal keystone correction slider that allows users to quickly correct distortions when the projector is placed off-centre to the screen.
