The online book store Flipkart put up a rather interesting product for preorder today. The product in question, is the HTC Desire HD. The Desire HD is quite popular overseas thanks to the great specs packed into the device, such as a Qualcomm 1 Ghz ‘Snapdragon’ processor along with 786MB of RAM which make sure that you get the speed you desire all the time when using the Android 2.2 (Froyo) OS.
The Desire HD sports a 4.3 inch 400×800 screen as well as 8MP camera with dual LED flash for all you budding photographers out there. It also has the usual trappings like a Digital Compass, G-Sensor, Proximity Sensor etc. For all those like to videos on the go, the Desire HD also supports DivX and Xvid video files as well as Flash Player 10.1 support.
While Flipkart has put up the Desire HD for preorder, the HTC India website on the other hand has no mention of the said device. It could be that HTC will be making an official announcement in a few days, or that it's just Flipkart who is simply importing unlocked phones for its customers.
It could go either way in the next few days, so you can take a risk and preorder the phone with no assurances on the delivery date, or you can sit tight and see how it all pans out. If an official announcement does happen, the phone will be available to you at around the same time as those who pre-ordered it. If not, well… that's a whole different story.
