Fujifilm have launched their new point and shoot digital camera named the FinePix AV200. This new point and shoot comes with a 14 MP sensor and 3x optical zoom lens. Priced at Rs. 5,499, it’s one of the more affordable cameras in the market. Features such as 720p video recording have been incorporated into the camera despite its low price.  The digital image stabilization feature ensures that there is no blurring of images because of hand shake.

Face detection, red-eye removal and motion panorama modes are also part of the features of the AV200. There are 21 shooting modes in all. The AV200 has a picture search that allows users to search by faces, scenes or dates of the photos shot.  Kenichi Tanaka, Managing Director, Fujifilm India said that the new A series of cameras would be on this year’s hot list and that the AV200 would deliver sharp and clear images no matter what the shooting conditions.
