A known brand in the camera space, Fujifilm has introduced 12 new cameras in its digital camera category. Fujifilm claims to have priced them in the most affordable fashion, while loading it with features. The camera ranges from the A series (AV200 and AX300), J series (JV200, JX300) FinePix X100, T200, F500 EXR, HS20, S2950, S3300, S4000 and Z900.

The A series range of the cameras are characteristically light-weight, and Fujifilm touts this as an ideal buy for beginners. Both AV200 and AX300 come with 14 megapixel sensors and 3x and 5x zooming abilities respectively. Other features of these cameras include Digital Image Stabilization, Single and Tracking Auto Focus, Motion Panorama mode, Scene Recognition Auto, Face Detection technology and convenient Picture Search (by Face, by Scene and by Date).

The J series range of cameras includes JV200, JX300. The cameras in this range have a slim body metal design. With 2.7 inch LCD screens, Fujifilm offers Fujinon zoom lenses, Scene Recognition Auto, Panorama Shooting Mode, Movie Mode with Sound, Picture Search etc. In addition, it also enables YouTube and Facebook upload.

FinePix X 100 enables a hybrid viewfinder with window-type optical viewfinder. It has a resolution of 12.3 megapixels with APS-C CMOS Sensor & EXR Processor which assures high-quality images. Fujifilm rates the next camera as one of its finest. FinePix HS20 also comes enabled with one of Fujifilm’s latest acquired technologies – APS-C CMOS Sensor – and offers a resolution of 16 megapixels. FinePix T200 is touted as the perfect tool for an amateur photographer. It has a 2.7 inch rear LCD which claims to offer clear picture viewing. FinePix Z900 offers a resolution of 16 megapixel and makes for a very stylish looking camera. Fujifilm enables HD movie experience. It can capture movies at up to 320fps in its High speed movie mode. The last one in the FinePix category is the FinePix F500EXR. This model comes with a resolution of 16 megapixels. In addition to the APS-C CMOS Sensor, Fujifilm offers a 3.0 LCD with 460,000 pixels. According to Fujifilm, this camera allows you to shoot good quality images at high sensitivity and high speed.

The S series of Fujifilm cameras include S2950, S3300 and S4000. These ranges of cameras come with a variety of zoom options – 8x zoom, 26x zoom and 30x zoom respectively. They offer a resolution of 14 megapixels and include features like playback functions, face detection, auto red-eye removal; multi-frame playback (with micro thumbnail).

With such a wide range of digital cameras to offer, Fujifilm’s plans sure does look ambitious. But we’re waiting for the final word in terms of pricing.
