Fujifilm India Ltd. has recently announced the launch of  the FinePix F500EXR camera, which is available in a variety of colours. The FinePix F500EXR is the latest offering in the F Series digital cameras offered by Fujifilm. The 16 megapixel camera has a powerful EXR CMOS sensor. The Japanese company claims that this camera has the ability to capture sharp photographs in brilliant colours.

The Fujifilm F500EXR features a 15x optical zoom, which Fujifilm claims will allow users to click pictures at a distance. The camera features a 3-inch LCD monitor and is available in five colours, which are paprika red, champagne gold, electric blue and classic black and white. Other features of this camera include Full HD video recording upto a resolution of 1080p, Photobook Assist function, face detection and recognition, dog/cat detection and creative options such as Motion Panorama 360 mode and Multi Frame Composition. This digicam can capture pictures in Provia (standard), Velvia (vivid), Astia (soft), Sepia and regular black and white modes, adds Fujifilm.

Fujifilm claims that the FinePix F500EXR can capture subtle modes and vivid landscapes brilliantly. Speaking at the launch of this camera, Mr. A. Rajkumar, Country General Manager of Fujifilm India said that the Fujifilm FinePix F500EXR is a photographer’s delight and is fashioned as per the technological and style needs of the Generation Y. The Fujifilm FinePix F500 is available in India for Rs. 18,999.
