We reported earlier that the Samsung Galaxy S III's reportedly releasing in February. Now, there’s news that a camera shot taken from the Galaxy S III has been leaked. As reported by Pocket Now, the EXIF file of the photo mentions that the image has been captured using the Galaxy I9500. Currently, there’s no such device in Samsung’s portfolio of galaxy smartphones, so chances are high that it might just be their next flagship phone. The Galaxy S II sports the name I9100 and the Galaxy Nexus sports the name I9250 so the next one could might as well be the I9500. However, the image sports a 5 megapixel resolution, which sounds quite awkward considering the S II has an 8 megapixel sensor. The EXIF also pinpoints the co-ordinates to one of the Korean centres of Samsung.

Taken from the S III?

Taken from the S III?

However, it’s worthy to note that EXIF files can be easily manipulated, so there’s a chance that the whole story might just be a fake. One thing is for sure though, the Galaxy S III will release next year. How good will the camera be? We’ll have to wait and see.
