An 11.6-inch screen with a 1.33 GHz processor and the latest wireless data transfer technology cannot be called a netbook. Netbooks don’t have specs that high although they can be that size. If these specs fail to impress you, we can move on to some further specifications.
Apart from the Core i5-470UM processor, the laptop has a 320 GB storage capacity, and a 2 GB RAM. The display has a resolution of 1366 x 768 pixels, HDMI/VGA output ports and an inbuilt Ethernet port. The device has a six-cell battery and should last for a good six hours. It doesn’t end here though, you'll also find a 1.3 megapixel webcam, 4-in-1 card reader, 802.11 b/g/n WiFi and Windows 7 Home Premium (64-bit). If you want to buy one now, you’ll have to head to Japan, because that’s where its being launched. It costs $775 (approx Rs. 35,400) and that makes it another reason why it cannot be called a netbook.
A feature-rich laptop which you want to see coming to India for sure, especially because Gateway is now officially in India. We’re waiting Gateway!
