To get you all excited for Gears of War 3, Microsoft are bundling both Gears of War 1 and 2 in an attractively priced package that’s expected to hit stores this February.

While this has not been officially announced by Microsoft, they’ve confirmed the existence of this bundle to IGN after it was spotted last week on Gamestop (the listing has been taken down now). They haven’t confirmed the contents of the package yet, but apparently it won’t contain the Gears of War 3 beta nor will it be called the “Ultimate” edition. They’re also remaining mum on whether this bundle would support Kinect, something that was to be revealed at the rather disappointing Spike VGA awards.

I make this look good

At this point in time it’s fairly obvious that the bundle would also contain all the DLC released for both games. And hey, if you’re one of the 2 people on the planet who don’t own Gears of War, this is the perfect time to pick up two of the most kickass exclusives on the Xbox360 – for just $29.99 (Rs. 1,340).

Gears of War Ultimate Edition will release exclusively for the Xbox360 by the 15th of February 2011.
