Many social media users and Google users took to Twitter to point out a mistake in the tri-colour ribbon that spelled out ‘Google’ on the homepage yesterday. Rather than saffron, the initial parts of the ribbon were a bright yellow.

The doodle also found its way to Google Now as well, which@aatifsumarrealised and pointed out to others. Google quickly replaced the old doodle with a new one, where the first ‘G’ and ‘o’ were more saffron than yellow.
