How do you know when your GBP 10 billion wedding is what the cool kids are into? When Google Doodles it. If your eyes aren't fixated on the wedding streams, and you're not grieving the 'loss of William' or ogling at Kate's dress, trying to find flaws in her, do check out the Doodle. Of course, click on the Doodle will aptly take you to results of “The Wedding of Prince William of Wales and Catherine Middleton”. The top result of that search is the official website and a few results down, of course, the Indian wedding websites begin. There's no Wikipedia page on the event yet, sadly.
You might feel lucky, but is Kate Middleton who lucked out?
The Doodle isn't interactive and it looks like a fanfare in the middle of Dickensian London. The royal lovebirds do have ways to proceed before they get to their point of hitching and of course it will be filled with onlookers. So the Doodle is pretty appropriate for the occassion I would say. If you've gotten back to wedding streaming, here's to hoping that there will be at least three girls speaking up when the priest goes, “Should anyone object to this match, speak now or forever hold your peace”. That will make for the next great Doodle.
