In February Google announced their plans to build experimental, ultra-high speed broadband networks. Through this process, one message has come through loud and clear to them: people are hungry for better and faster Internet access. With that in mind, today they’re launching a new site called Google Fiber for Communities, where users can learn more about fiber networks and keep up-to-date on the project.
As the project pushes along, updates will be listed on the website. They hope to use the project to promote user advocacy for improvements in fiber diplomacy.
