We all know that one of the key elements or the most talked about feature of the iPhone 4S is Siri, the voice-enabled assistant. We’ve also seen similar apps emerge, soon after for Android, like the Iris, but nothing could really stand up against Siri. Now, Google is said to be working on a project, titled Majel that works towards building an official client. According a source, who has been working with the team told Android and Me that the client is as good as or better than Siri. Further, it displays trays of research that can be swiped away or selected accordingly. He used the tablet-based version.

Another answer to Siri.. will it work this time?

Another Google employee revealed under the condition of anonymity that the search giant has been focusing on a super smart AI robot, calling it the most amazing thing he has seen, which allows IM-like casual conversations. Majel is expected to make it to markets by early next year. So, would the Majel project be a part of the next Android version likely to be known as Jelly Bean or would it be made available as an app anytime early next year?
