Google and LG’s Nexus 4 smartphone could be out in India by January 2013, according to this report from IBN-Live

The report also adds that LG’s Optimus G, the smartphone with the voice-activated camera could be out in India at the same time as the Nexus 4.

The price of the two devices remains unknown but don’t expect it to be available for a low price. The device currently costs around Rs 37,999 on the online site Tradus. This is for the 16 GB version of the device. On Ebay the device will cost you much more and is priced at Rs 45,500.

The device has a 4.7-inch screen with 1280768 resolution, True HD and IPS (In Panel Switching), and an 8-megapixel autofocus camera instead of the 13 megapixel version in the Optimus G.

The device has Qualcomm’s quad-core processor, which is clocked at 1.5Ghz along with 2GB RAM.

The phone will be available in 8GB and 16GB versions with no Micro-sd card slot. The device supports NFC, and Bluetooth 4.0. There’s no support for LTE for now but it does have an unlocked pentaband DC-HSPA+ (High Speed Packet Access which comes to 42Mbps).
