If you’re not in a hurry to buy the iPad, now that the prices have dropped, you might want to consider the HP TouchPad. No, it’s not getting any cheaper, but there is one miniscule feature in it. Okay, maybe a SIM card slot is a pretty ordinary feature in the TouchPad, but we never knew about this earlier.
See that li'l tray sticking out?
Anyway, Tinhte, a Vietnamese site has captured the TouchPad and they’ve discovered the SIM card slot. As you can see in the video, the tablet looks pretty slim but the glossy back panel makes it a fingerprint magnet! Before we look at the video, here’s a quick go-through at the specs of the TouchPad:
- 9.7-inch diagonal XGA capacitive, multitouch screen
- Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, A-GPS
- Bluetooth 2.1 + EDR with A2DP
- 1.3 megapixel front facing camera
- 16 GB or 32 GB of internal storage
- 3.5 mm headset/headphone/microphone jack
So, will you be waiting to check out the webOS on the TouchPad? Or are you still craving for a fruity tablet?
