If you were writing off the idea of a stylus (or digital pen) with a tablet, this might encourage you to think again. That HTC’s Flyer boasts of a digital pen was no surprise, but it looks like the HTC Scribe works fine.
Here's that pen in action again
Some guys at ElectricPig have previewed the HTC Scribe and have taken a video of it as well. The stylus does all standard functions you would expect, like writing or scribbling and drawing. This one does a little more with saving bookmarks and web pages by writing on them for approval. Check the video below.
The video shows how you can choose colours from a palette; customize your homescreen by scribbling on it and quite some more. There seem to be quite a few more things that you can do with the HTC Scribe but they haven’t been shown in the video.
The one bad point of having a stylus would be if you don’t have a convenient holder or a grip. But on the flipside, many can benefit from writing in a conventional style that they’re used to for quite a while now.
