Indie game bundles have become a big thing these days, but it was mostly popularised by the first Humble Bundle. The folks over at Humble Bundle have now come up with a new Android bundle, called Humble Bundle for Android 4. The Humble Bundle is a pay-what-you-want deal where you get a collection of games for the price you decide. One part of the price goes to the developers, one part to the Humble Bundle, and one part to charity. You decide how big each part is. At the time of writing, the highest price paid for the Humble Bundle for Android 4 has been $1,000, with the Bundle having raised $417,200.

The games in the latest Humble Bundle for Android are Splice, Eufloria, Walking Mars, Crayon Physics Deluxe, and Superbrothers: Swords and Sworcery EP. Paying above the average price – which at the time of writing is $5.97 – will net you the adventure game Machinarium. On buying the games, you get access to all versions of the games for all platforms, including PC, Mac, Linux, and in this case, Android. The games are all free from any digital rights management (DRM) so you can make as many copies of the games as you like. Along with the games, you also get the soundtracks for the games.

Earlier this year, the Humble Bundle V had managed to raise $1 million in five hours. The pack included games such as Amnesia: The Dark Descent, LIMBO, Psychonauts, Bastion and Superbrothers: Sword & Sworcery EP. If you buy these games separately through Steam or anywhere else, it would cost you around $110 but Humble Bundle leaves the final price up to you.

You start off by heading to the website here, and selecting how much you wish to pay. You can either select a preset amount or enter a custom amount. The next step allows you to choose how your money is spent. You can decide how much money goes to the developers, how much you wish to give to Child’s Play Charity or the Electronics Frontier Foundation. You can even donate a small amount (or large) to Humble Bundle as well. Finally simply choose your method of payment either through PayPal, Amazon Payments or Google Checkout. The Humble Bundle V has been very well received within the community raising a whopping  $1 million in just five hours. All games that are purchased through Humble Bundle are DRM free and if you pay more than the average amount, you also get a free game as well.

We highly recommend you support indie game developers as these are some of the most creative and imaginative games out there. As they don’t have big publishers such as EA or Activision backing them, many of them go unnoticed.
