A week or so ago, we saw an image and specs of the BlackBerry Dakota. And while RIM tries to protect their BlackBerry Messenger logs, it looks like they can’t protect their phones from being snapped as images of Blackberry's next Curve series phone has been leaked.
N4BB has got their hands on images of BlackBerry’s next-gen phone, codenamed Sedona. The phone is internally known as the R010 but there’s no official model number for the smartphone. The phone looks and feels quite similar to the Bold 9780 albeit a little thinner. The resolution of the screen is said to be higher than any current BlackBerry, but again it’s not being previewed so we can’t say for sure.
The phone runs on BlackBerry OS 6.1 and boasts of 512 MB RAM which might be sufficient for the phone to operate smoothly. It’s also said that the phone will be featuring 3G and GSM/CDMA support.
While these specs are not confirmed, there’s still a lot more to be seen of the Sedona. There's still no mention of the screen size, camera resolution and in-built storage. We’ll keep you updated as and when we get to know about this smartphone.
