Inspan Infotech have announced the launch of ultra high speed SSDs from Corsair. The SSDs come in 60GB (CSSD-F60GB2-BRKT) and 120GB (CSSD-F120GB2-BRKT) variants and provides unparalleled write endurance, superior ECC data protection, and outstanding performance.
All Force Series SSDs implement the ATA TRIM command, supported by Windows 7, which helps to maintain optimal performance over the drive's lifetime. The F60, F120, and F240 Force Series SSDs all support the maximum throughput specification of 285MB/s read and 275MB/s write.
With no drop-off in performance when moving down to 60GB, the F60 is an ideal boot drive for a performance system, especially when combined with traditional spinning media for mass storage. Both SSDs consume less power thereby increasing the battery life for notebooks and netbooks. The 2.5″ form factor is provided for portable computer needs and 2.5″ to 3.5″ bracket for installation on desktop computers.
Sudhir S, Managing Director of Inspan Infotech said “Power Computing and Mobile Computing are the segments that are growing with a greater pace than before. While power computing demands speed with heavy storage, mobile computing demands speed, storage and power efficiency as well besides the decreased weight. These solid state devices from Corsair are just apt for these two segments, this trend is going to increase and this new customer segment will grow rapidly. By introducing these products from Corsair, Inspan has enabled partners to address that premium segment.”
The 60 GB (CSSD-F60GB2-BRKT) and the 120GB GB (F120GB2-BRKT) SSDs are priced at Rs 10,000 and Rs 18,000 respectively and carry a 10 year warranty.
