Intex has expanded its smartphone portfolio and with the Aqua i4+, launched for Rs 7,600. Like most manufacturers these days, Intex has also gone for a phablet-sized display of 5 inches.
The Aqua i4+ sports a FWVGA (854 x 480) display, which does not really fill us with confidence especially considering the screen size. It is powered by a 1.2GHz dual-core processor, coupled with a mere 512MB of RAM. The low RAM could prove to be a hindrance in running games smoothly.
The smartphone runs on the older Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS. On the camera front, it gets an 8-megapixel camera with auto-focus and flash, and a 1.3MP front-facing camera. It has modest 4GB onboard storage, which be expanded further up to 32GB via microSD card slot. Intex also provides 5GB of free cloud storage through an Intex Cloud app.The connectivity options include 3G, HSPA+, and Bluetooth 4.0.
