The Intex sound bar design is stylishly designed and also adopts the new generation CLASS D Audio Amplifier circuitry and equips instant Low Power Radio (LPR) based wireless interface at 2.4GHz between sub woofer and Channel Bar. So, it automatically negates the pairing time, which is required in Bluetooth-based technology. The device has a wireless subwoofer for adding the required punch.

The sound bar can emit 80W of output, which is complemented with the enhanced sound from a 100W subwoofer, says the company.  Further, it is said to be designed to perform in all power conditions in India with the SMPS-based power supply design. The Sound Bar features control buttons on the panel and is also bundled with a remote.

Commenting on the launch, Vikram Kalia, GM- Product Management, Intex Technologies (India) Ltd. said, “The most important feature for any home theater system is high quality sound. Consumers have become more demanding and are looking for a device that not only comes at an affordable price but also gives rich audio experience. We are very excited to introduce the Sound Bar range which will redefine the total sound experience. It literally converts any television into a total home entertainment system.”

The Sound Bar Marvel 250 sound system is priced at Rs.12,999. The Superb 200, yet another model with built-in subwoofer is priced at Rs.9,999. Both models are available in India.
