A lot has been written about the iPad since it was launched on the 27th of January.. and most of it has been bad. But Engadget's reporting some new developments and they are pretty confident that it shall come to pass.

One of the reasons the iPad got flamed was the fact that it didn't have a camera but according to Engadget, the iPhone OS 3.2, the OS the iPad is running on, contains support for video calling. This points out to the possibility that the next version of iPad could have a camera.

Engadget is also reporting that there will be hooks to accept and decline a video conference, flip a video feed and run the video call in either full screen mode or in just a portion of the screen, allowing users to chat and do other things at the same time.
