While Samsung are busy developing the world's first DDR4 RAM modules, Kingston today announced the release of their HyperX Genesis Special Edition Gray DDR3 memory modules. These dual-channel memory kits are manufactured to complement the newly-launched Sandy Bridge P67 platform as well as existing P55-based systems.

Kingston still working hard on DDR3

The memory modules will be available in DDR3 2133MHz (CL9-9-9-27) and 1600MHz (CL9-9-9-27) 4GB kits. They both function at voltages of 1.65v and are backed by Kingston’s limited lifetime warranty.

The specs

“The modern design and look accentuate the new black and grey P67 motherboards just reaching the market,” said Ann Bai, DRAM Memory Sales Director, APAC Region, Kingston. “With performance memory frequency initially at 2133MHz and 1600MHz, these new additions to the family of HyperX products meet the demands of everyone from the enthusiast vying for the fastest benchmark score to the weekend gamer.”
