Mozilla’s latest Firefox will be updated to Beta 8, but there aren’t any new features that their latest browser will be offering. Cnet says that Mozilla will be focusing more on improving the already existing features of the browser.
Streamlining of the Firefox Sync is one improvement that Mozilla has worked on. They hope of having the same preferences, tabs, bookmarks, history and passwords across phones and computers. The other change would be some more tweaks made to the WebGL 3D rendering technology which helps in using 3D graphics in a web browser without any requirement of plug-ins. There possibly might be some improvement in the add-ons manager as well.
While all the above tweaks are available for the desktop browser, there is no word on Firefox Mobile 4 beta 3 for Android which will be released simultaneously. There are more bug fixes such as changes made to HTML5 compatibility and browser security, you can check out the list here.
The update is due anytime now and we will notify you as and when we know of it.
