HTC’s first attempt at tablets didn’t go as planned unfortunately; so instead of moping around, the Taiwanese company is bracing itself for the release of a better version (hopefully!) of the Flyer called Puccini. We first got a whiff of this project back in May, but it was just speculation at that point. BGR managed to get their hands on some press shots, which now gives us more details about the new Honeycomb tablet.
Just hope its better than the Flyer
The internal specifications are still unclear, but looking at the competition and early rumors, a dual-core CPU is a given along with Android Honeycomb 3.2 (mostly) and HTC Sense. The 10.1-inch tablet will also have HTC Scribe technology, which enables the use of the digital pen.
Upgraded camera with LED flash
Apart from the new funky design, we have two speaker grills at the bottom just like the Flyer and an 8MP camera with a dual LED flash. We’re not sure what the grill on the upper left corner is for. There’s no word on when HTC will be officially announcing this, but we hope it’s soon.
