Facebook is all set to hold an event today where it will showcase its new ‘Home on Android. Now the device or the OS that the social networking site will reveal today has sparked a lot of buzz.

According to an earlier TechCrunch, reportFacebook will show a modified version of the Android operating system with deep native Facebook functionality on the homescreen that may live on an HTC handset.

And today 9to5Google along with @evleaks from Twitter has revealed photos of what the Android/Facebook Home screen looks like.

The report states that the phone which is by HTC is called “First”. Evleaks also revealed a picture of the smartphone in its twitter feed. You can check out the tweet below:

The images on 9to5Google reveal an app launcher, custom notifications. From the images one can see that the emphasis clearly seems to be on Facebook apps as.

9to5Google has also reported that, Facebook and HTC are working on a pretty big marketing campaign for this ‘Android’ smartphone. The report states, the advertisements for the campaignwill focus on the potential user of the phone itself rather than hardware or softwareandone of the tag-lines for the device is “more than just an app”.
