Lenovo India has launched its latest touch-optimised IdeaPad Z Series laptops, the IdeaPad Z400 and Z500.

The IdeaPad Z400 is powered by 3rd generation Intel Core i7 processors and has a 14-inch LED backlit HD widescreen display. On the other hand, the IdeaPad Z500 is powered by 3rd generation Intel Core i5 processors and comes with a 15-inch LED backlit HD widescreen display.  

These stylish notebooks have storage capacity up to 1TB and a RAM up to 16GB. The devices offer a battery life of up to 3 hours. 

Lenovo's latest addition to the notebook market is now available in India

Features like Intelligent TouchPad for the Windows 8 interface, easy scroll, zoom and rotate functions, the latest NVIDIA GeForce GT 645M 2GB graphics and the access to Lenovo cloud, the newly launched laptops are expected to offer a good performance on a slim device as the IdeaPad Z400 and Z500 are 25 percent slimmer than a standard notebook.

Lenovo IdeaPad Z400 Touch and Z500 Touch also come with a unique app “Lenovo Companion”, which allows you to have a quick access to Lenovo products, tutorials, application showcases and accessories information. 

The company has promised the computing experience to be more interactive as the IdeaPad Z400 and Z500 have a 10-point multi-touch technology that allows multi-tasking at the same time on the same computer by making intuitive gestures on the laptop screen.

In India, these products will be available in both touch and non-touch versions. The company has priced the Z400 Touch and Z500 at Rs 47,990 and Rs 53,590 excluding taxes, respectively.
