Lenovo is certainly looking to make an impact in the smartphone and tablet segment. After announcing three tablets and a smartphone, just yesterday, Lenovo raised the curtains on two new smartphones from their LePhone range – the LePhone K2 and the LePhone S760. If the specifications of the LePhone S2 did not excite you enough, maybe these smartphones will do the trick.

This handset runs on Google’s Android Gingerbread operating system and features a 1.5GHz dual-core Scorpion processor with a Qualcomm MSM8260 chipset, a report by Engadget states. Here is a glance at the smartphone’s highlighted specifications:

Like the LePhone K2, an Engadget report states that this handset runs on Android Gingerbread and features a 1GHz processor. Here is a quick look at the highlighted features of the new smartphone from Lenovo

Not much information is available, as of now regarding either of the handsets. In all probablity, the LePhone S760 will be launched in December, while the launch date of the K2 is yet unknown. Prices for these smartphones is not available as yet, but hopefully the entire specification sheet, date of availability and the cost will be known, sooner than later.
