Close on the heels of the ‘Optimus 2X’ announcement, LG has unveiled the Optimus Mach Smartphone for the masses. The new entrant into the Optimus family runs on Android 2.2 (Froyo) and sports a 3.8-inch multi touch display which has a resolution of 480 x 800.
The Optimus Mach is powered by a 1GHz processor courtesy of Texas Instruments and has a 5 mega pixel camera to keep all you shutterbugs happy. Your multimedia needs will be taken care quite nicely as the device plays a range of formats with 1080p playback capability. With Dolby Mobile 2.0 certification, it will provide you with a rich and vivid audio experience.
The Optimus 2X also comes with an HDMI port, digital compass, Facebook, twitter and Bebo integration via LG’s SNS widget. Connectivity options include a USB 2.0 port, along with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth.
LG hasn’t mentioned a price on the device as yet, but you can be sure that we update you with the latest information as it comes out.
