With Apple’s iPad taking a big bite of the tablet market share in 2010, many manufacturers such as Samsung and Dell have decided to grab their piece of cake as well. LG showed off their new 4G Android tablet at CES, which they plan to start selling through T-Mobile in the US. The 8.9-inch tablet has been named the T-Mobile G-Slate. It’ll run the new Android Honeycomb OS and will be powered by NVIDIA’s Tegra 2 processor.

One of the interesting software features would be the new Google Talk for tablets which will enable audio and video chatting. The other Google apps will also be made available, but with tweaks made to them for better compatibility with the larger platform. The product is slated to be released in the next few months. No one has had the chance of actually using the product and no prices details have been made public either. In fact, no press images have been made available either. More details might be given out during at an event in the next few days.
