Those using LinkedIn on their BlackBerry 10 devices should head to the BlackBerry World store to grab the latest update.
The updated LinkedIn app on BB10 features a design refresh to improve the user experience. As part of the changes, LinkedIn has improved the visual styling, pulldown functionality for refreshes and touchdown feedback on clicking list items, among other things.
The updated app also enables users to import their personal address book from their BB10 devices to LinkedIn. This makes it easier for them to view and connect to their contacts on the platform. The app now lets users to view in-depth details of the company they follow – How you're connected, About, Jobs, Similar Companies and News & Updates.
Host of changes introduced..
In addition to all of the above, there have been other changes too that have been introduced. These include inbox enhancements, deleting and archiving messages, people search improvements and the ability to update your profile photo from within the app. To get all the details, visit the official app page on the BlackBerry World application storefront. The service turned 10 recently. In the 10 years of its existence, LinkedIn has gone from being just a website to being a public company with 225 million members that offers other services like Pulse and SlideShare under its wings.
Co-founded by Reid Hoffman in 2003, the humble start up has moved from 4,500 members in its first month to over 200 million at the end of 10 years. More importantly, LinkedIn has changed the way social networking behaves.
