Hideo Kojima is all set to let players re-experience some of his games in HD via the Metal Gear Solid HD collection this November. This collection will include Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty, Metal Gear Solid 3: Snake Eater and Metal Gear Solid: Peace Walker. Out of all those games, Peace Walker will be playable in co-op by up to four players across Xbox Live and PSN according to one of Kojima’s tweets. I don’t know about you but not having played Peace Walker on the PSP, I’d like to see how co-op gets implemented in the HD version.
Co-op makes everything better
The entire HD Collection pack will be released for the Xbox360 and PS3 this November and will feature a bevy of improvements like Trophies/Achievements, improved visuals, right analog stick support and lots more. It may not be the best time to release a remake considering November is full of AAA stuff like Uncharted 3, Skyrim, Modern Warfare 3 and lots more but then again, it’s Metal Gear Solid so you never know.
